​Big Dog Status Outfitters is based out of Port Mansfield, Texas. We provide year around guided fishing trips from the Land Cut to South Padre Island. We target red fish, speckled trout, and flounder on light tackle. Our guided fishing trips consist primarily of drifting or wade fishing  using bait or lures. Half day trips are $55O for up to (3) guest and $100 each additional guest, departing at 7am and returning at 12 noon. Afternoon and full day trips are available upon request as well as family and large corporate groups. Multiple boats available!!!  

CAPT. JR Rodriguez provides all fishing equipment, ice, fish cleaning and a comfortable ride in a 2020 - 24ft Shallow Sport.
